I just posted my pictures from the Harajuku Fashion Meetup, a Japanese street fashion enthusiast meetup in Little Tokyo hosted by Harajuku Day that also celebrated its half-year anniversary!

I’ve wanted to own something from BtSSB pretty much since I was 13 & started discovering Lolita (for those who don’t know, a vintage-inspired Japanese fashion subculture that’s gotten even more popular outside of Harajuku). When I saw this Ribbon Heart Bag at the BtSSB store in NYC I knew I had to sacrifice some funds for it. I had it shipped from Japan when it sold out! So expensive, but it’s so precious & it looks like a retro valentine (oh boy I do adore valentines!
My PUG black stretch capris have been one of the best purchases I’ve made in a while. They’re high-waisted and come with a belt and should be a PinUp fashion staple! Plus my limited edition Dita Von Teese cardigan in pale pink from Wheels & Dollbaby (who recently gifted me the new lavender colorway), I’m feeling pretty cheesecake right now <3 My hair could use some TLC though :c

We are pleased to announce the opening of the web store Dark Romanesque Holiday, representing the concept of a festival-style black market, to be launched for a limited period only starting July 14th.Dark Romanesque Holiday is a web store that opens its doors to the public at indeterminate times, based on each holiday season. Based on the theme of “Street Gothic from Tokyo”, this web store features highly original creations that go way beyond mere boutique items.
In this first season titled “Summer Vacation” there will be seven participating brands from Japan and abroad. The great variety of items on offer will include brands such as Fangophilia (custom molded Japanese body jewelery worn by international artists including Marilyn Manson, G-dragon, and Grimes), Muze (a brand that is popular for its sophisticated urban minimal design and which is primarily featured in the H>Fractal store), Vive Vagina by Si-Oux (a female Japanese artist who has personally received tremendous support as a style icon), Million Dollar Orchestra (managed by musician Takeru from the Japanese rock bank SuG), and including the participation of Chou Chou —Risa Nakamura’s pet cat— under the name of Chouchou de Chaton.
Dark Romanesque Holiday will offer a unique lineup of products linked with graphical artworks, primarily centered on collaboration items made with a mixture of different brands which are unique to this web store, as well as various items of clothing and accessories, plus a great variety of products ranging all the way from paintings to kitchen knives. This first collection “Summer Vacation” will be available from July 14th to August 31st.
